Credit Comet - 2018
A pared down version of Core, Credit Comet was created to serve independent customers and SMEs that don’t require a large number of company reports, likely needing a maximum of 5 throughout the lifetime of a project.
Design and layout were taken from Core and redesigned to create an independent product that was intentionally different in UI and branding.

With a search field front and centre, users can look for a company straight away. For confused or unsure customers, the process of report purchase is explained to the customers on the homepage, avoiding confusion and reducing customer drop-off.
Using formatting and layout from Core, Credit comet was designed for single reports and does away with analytics, grouping and other portal features.
Identifying which company a user is searching for often requires more data than the business name. The decision was made to provide as much free data as possible to ensure a customer would be purchasing the report from the company they were really looking for.
This screen showed exactly what the customer would receive. Each report was different, with varying degrees of information. Being transparent about what the user would get was a key takeaway from user interviews.
Payment was made easy, taking cues from retail websites for an optimal, delightful experience.
Displaying not only company information, but highlighting certain features was key in convincing customers to use the brand new platform. A key takeaway from interviews was that downloading and printing their reports was vital, a feature that was highlighted in MVP.
